On February 29, 2016，the first coil was successfully produced by Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel 2030mm Cold Rolling & Continuous Annealing Line. This indicated the successful production of this project. Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel 2030mm Cold Rolling & Continuous Annealing Line was started on September 3, 2013. It is a super long and super high line. Its advanced process, vertical furnace height and construction quantities have reached the top level of the world. The products are mainly used for superior automobiles and household electric appliances. It is a milestone to promote the great-leap development of local economy.
This project is a construction model for MCC5 to create metallurgical excellent project. In the construction process, MCC5 has overcome many difficulties to guarantee the one-time success of cold load test-run and hot load test-run. It has been put into production 112 days ahead of the contractual date. It has updated the record of similar project construction in the metallurgical field.（Reported by: Chen Hua）
