On August,27, with the successful erection of columns of Line 414 process steel structure of annealing furnace of hot galvanizing Line，the process steel structure work of annealing furnace section of VALIN Arcelor Mittal Automotive Steel Project was in full swing. This contract section is undertaken by MCC5 Group Shanghai Corporation Limited.
VALIN Arcelor Mittal Automotive Steel Project is an important investment project approved by Chinese Government. It is located in the second industrial park of Hunan Loudi Economic Development Zone. The annul production capacity is 500,000t hot galvanized strip coil. This project mainly adopts the most advanced automotive steel production technology to provide high-end new-type galvanized steel sheets for domestic automotive industry, so as to promote the development of new-type industry in Hunan Province.
MCC5 Group Shanghai Corporation Limited undertakes the third contract section (Galvanizing) of this project, mainly including：Newly-built hot galvanizing workshop building, galvanized products warehouse building, one galvanizing line, two recoiling and slitting lines, and electrical room, etc. This is another world first-class hot galvanizing project undertaken by MCC5 Group Shanghai Corporation Limited. In this project, our company has applied self-developed advanced technologies such as “Super-Long Continuous Concrete Equipment Foundation Crack Control Technology” and “Large Area Bolt Sleeves Erection Precision Control Technology”.
At present time, the steel structure erection of hot galvanizing workshop has been basically completed; 6 out of 10 overhead cranes have been erected for the galvanizing line; the placing of zinc pot foundation concrete has been completed, and the core equipment-zinc pot is ready for erection.（By Wang Chenghui and Liao Anxiu）
